| Turning awareness into action | | |

| mgteixeira | Jan 19, 4:05am | Recently, Reuters pointed out as one of the major changes in the world in 2007 was the rising of awareness levels regarding global warming. (please watch: reuters.com/news/video [reuters.com/news/video])
Now what? How can we use the awareness created to provoke change in behavior? In your opinion what should be the next course of action ? |

| Henry02 | Feb 11, 1:08pm | Since the problem is multifaceted one (that is, many aspects to the dilemma of a GLOBAL climate change)... I believe there are more ways than one to help all of us focus on the problem solving, starting with our selves, our circumstance (life style, as the saying goes) can be one starting step, trying to live by example.
In examining, say, the past/current energy means of production,& future needs, along with potentials for alternative means of such production... seems to indicate that de-centralization will be not only possible but necessary... The wind is blowing somewhere, & the sun is shinning somewhere too, etc.
& somehow, seems to have more potential for employment, & other not so side effects.
Just a couple of thoughts... My first post here, so hope I am not repeating too much what someone else has said. |
